What gets checked
The full URL, including path, is checked, because many blocklists list specific pages on otherwise legitimate sites rather than the whole domain. Only http and https links are accepted.

Does this open the link?
Not from your browser. The URL is checked against reputation databases on our side, so you can test a suspicious link without loading it.
A link came back clean. Is it safe?
It means no blocklist knows about it yet. Phishing pages are often hours old when they reach an inbox, so a clean result on a link you did not expect is not a guarantee. Look at the domain itself as well.
My own site is flagged. What now?
Find and remove whatever triggered it, usually injected scripts, a compromised plugin or a hijacked subdomain, then request a review from each listing service. Our subdomain finder helps find forgotten hosts that may be the source.
